But Saban hasn't shut JFF down.
And referring to what he did to an inferior QB does not change that.

Maybe....most people can not afford screw ups. If you are good enough, you can frick up a bit.

You guys really are full of shite.

No.
You're the one who cited a QB Saban actually beat to prove he can beat a QB he hasn't.
That's full of shite.

It is about respect, has nothing to do with being able to afford screw ups. To me, missing an entire morning session and not calling makes it seem like JFF thinks he is already bigger and better than the NFL legends at the camp. And then he goes and parties afterwards which shows a lack of remorse IMO. I would be embarrassed if Mark Ingram had acted this way after winning the heisman.

Anybody that would call their Heisman winning QB an assclown should turn in their ring if they actually have one.
Dude, he's an elite-level douche. Stop acting like one of the Liucci obsessed pricks on the Texags pay board and just accept it.
You don't have to like him to root for him on the field and you certainly don't have to blindly defend him.
He parties a lot, acts like spoiled brat and has little to no understanding of what he represents with regards to our school. And you know what? IDGAF and love that he gets the Rant so angry.

So you don't think Saban can slow down a 6'1" QB whose spending the whole offseason drinking instead I don't know getting better?

Again, at this point it's safe to assume he hates Archie.
The evidence is overwhelming.
I think we should look further into what Archie did to warrant such unqualified hate.

Let me save you the wondering: he already DOES think he's bigger and better. That's just how he thinks and how he plays.

Then you tied too much of your identity into Ingram.

That's because you're a pussy.
Stop trying to tell us how mad we are supposed to be about this. The Rant has been telling us how ashamed and upset we should be for months and we are still no closer to giving a frick.
Once again, we know the fact that we don't care and still root for him just drives you all fricking nuts. Why would we stop now?

You get personally embarrassed over football player's behavior? Ok

Saban could kill a hooker and Alabama fans would not want him fired....hard to take this thread seriously.

I just would hate to have our one heisman trophy winner ever act like an idiot.
And personally embarrassed, no. Embarrassed that he is representing the university in that manner, absolutely.

It doesn't SEEM like that, it IS like that. Manziel is a massive douche who thinks he is better than every HOF QB after his freshman year of college. It's a completely absurd level of self-absorption. It's also why he's so damn good and competitive.
Everyone grows up wanting to root for a Roger Staubach or a Bart Starr. But you know what? Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler were winners, too.

Johnny was banging hot cat all night and partying. As long as he stays fresh for Saturdays and Sundays and doesn't break the law frick you.
