Who WOULDN'T want to see Manziel go to the Cowboys? If you're a Johnny fan, there's no greater stage for his success. If you're a Johnny hater, there's no greater stage for his failure.

Mallett would be the best QB the Texans could land.

Well said, there isn't anything better for the NFL. Hometown kid, heisman, scrutiny, America's team, Tony Romo, Jerry Jones, Jerry's world, Jumbotron.

Because I ... uh ... don't care for the Cowboys .

Eta: that said, I'd be fine with him staying in The Great State.

A Dallas fan that wants to see Jerry Jones make some competent draft picks for a change.

So this guy

But Dallas would definitely be taking bids for that 16th pick if Manziel is still there (unlikely in the first place) so it doesn't matter.

If Johnny went to the Cowboys I might have to hold my nose and watch them. I have hated on Jerruh since he booted Landry in such a poor manner.

Grudges. I hold them.

Either Johnny or Dez would die at the other's hands in training camp. Johnny wouldn't take Dez's shite-talking like a little girl the way Romo does.

Manziel is not even the top QB on their board. Just heard it on 1310 The Ticket. Bortles is higher.

1310 is wrong, Kiper, Schefter and McShay have all said today Manziel is tops on their board.

I'd be surprised if that matters, by the time the Cowboys pick
(unless they trade up, of course).
Who knows?

Yeah, ESPN is ALWAYS right. The Ticket is talking to a guy pretty close to Jerry Jones.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if they have Bortles higher.
I'm a big fan of his.
I don't think they could go wrong with either guy.

Match made in heaven.

Jerry Jones + Johnny Football = match made in hell

1 ego is hard enough but those 2 massive egos and no way it works well for the Cowboys.

Would be awesome to see.

Well the media would love the sound byte to drive media hits but not sure it translates to wins.

Anyone else agree?

Still not sure JFF makes it past 3 years before the injury bug takes him down for the count. NFL with faster and more experienced folks on the defensive side of the line means some folks will hit him early and probably often.

I mean, are Alabama fans operating under the impression that AJ is anything more than a 5th or 6th round pick?

Not going in the 1st but 5th or 6th is a bit harsh.
