Except he said at his hiring presser that he intended to win a National Championship.

I am with you when it comes to a football coach and face of our program. I literally thought "how bad could it be?" and I have found out. Good God, I have found out.

You can blame John L. but Bobby is the guy who caused all of this. I'm surprised I don't hear more hate for him.

Plenty of hate for him, but he isn't as much involved in the here and now. If we lost a couple, games to bad coaching or lack of motivation then you could say that was his fault. ULM and Rutgers were lost because of the short bus crew we have on the sidelines, not Bob.

I don't think we are capable of that. This program has no balls and probably couldn't find it's wee wee...

The vast majority of that team checked out shortly after Bobby wrecked his bike. John L. is a wacko and is likely close to breakdown (I would be too) but I can't think of too many coaches who would definitely do better.

I hated Petrino before Arkansas because of what he is. He took it to a higher level (briefly) than Nutt sure, but he nuked the program with his lack of morals. frick that guy. I almost hate him more than Kiffin.

I don't feel the same way. Arky fans gave us so much shite about Nutt. Bobby is a hero in my book and I wish I could take a bath in the Arky tears.

If he gets rehired for a 3 year gig - what exactly would the fallout in Arky look like?

Arkansas needs to lock him down, now. Their program has not received this much national attention in more than 30 years.

So he called the AD and asked for the job. I thought it was the other way around. Make him leaving Weber State that much dooshier.
