What's funny is that the secondary is the weak link of the team against the run.
Most of the missed tackles yesterday were on defensive backs and safeties that just aren't tackling well.
The front 7 has been very sturdy against two decent offenses, especially when you consider how much they have had to be on the field.
They have also been money in the red zone.

The linebackers did better at contain this game, but they pushed the running backs to the safeties....who can't freaking tackle.
I never understood Gardner to safety. Kid is a stud corner who was in line to be the next great corner at UF. We need a safety badly. Don't know who we put there though.
Georgia and LSU will run all over us with their stud tailbacks unless we figure out our secondary, quickly.

In tomorrow morning's weekly Deeprig9 edition of Chubb vs Guice, I plan on throwing some honorable mentions to Kelly. Grown arse man right there.

I just don't get it. We have Kelly and a stable of RBs that can run (Chandler is going to be great with more reps and CFA is having a good sophomore season despite not getting as much work). On top of that we've been a running team every year under Jones and suddenly we're slinging it?
The more I think on it the more I think it goes back to Dormady keeping too many snaps. Our plays start there and he's keeping them like he's fricking Manning.

We aren't talking about old school run run pass sec coaches. Jones is a yankee band geek, and he's just confused.
Anyway, what sux is Kelley will most likely leave to league after this year.
