I found the site. I just checked and if you search circa 1982 instead of 1999 you find that LSU was, at that time, 11th all time in win % among power teams while A&M was 33rd

So yeah if you conveniently cherry pick 1999 as your one moment in time you want to look at then it's pretty even, but if you look at what it was before and what it is now it isn't.

You have to have a concerted effort to give that up to LSU.

Before Saban. How hard is that for you to understand?

I remember having similar dumb arguments with Arkansas fans like 10 years ago when they still thought of themselves the way aggies think of themselves now. 25 years of mediocrity has finally taught them they are a medium sized fish in the SEC ocean. It may take some time but y'all will get there eventually too. But hey you will still have nicest stadium/endowment arguments to fall back on.

Give it time. I was worried Les would survive the Wisconsin loss and that took care of itself Sumlin has 11 more chances to lose his job.

Just to understand as an LSU fan you want Sumlin gone?
For the life of me I can not understand any LSU fan hoping for anything less for him than to get a ten year extension and 100 million dollar buy out.

Wrong. A&m is a sleeping giant. Unlimited resources for the right leadership. I wander what a dan Mullen with his D.C. He has now could do. Or put a Canada and Aranda if Aggies had them as a coordinator duo? They could become this king of Texas and be a premier program. Key word being could. Hopefully we keep our duo in p&g while O gets the talent he needs and we get all the Houston and E Texas talent !!

Sumlin should fire him immediately. His only chance is make some
Noise by saying can't Allow record setting games against his D last season (Lsu) and then start like this. Even with his mistakes as the HC. Then start winning and win the first few conference games and maybe things start turning around. Imo in sumlins situation with what happened week 1 he needs to make a statement and not by firing a S&c guy. It needs to be chavis.

You are delusional. LSU was always significantly better than A&M historically, long before anybody ever heard of Nick Saban.

We also are one of the most recognizable and marketable brands in college athletics. The Aggie Network is worldwide. There's a spirit can ne'er be told.

The records say otherwise.

Before Saban went to LSU:

Texas A&M:

18 conference titles
1 national title
23 poll finishes
601-375-48 record (.610 pct)

LSU:

10 conference titles
1 national title
29 poll finishes
610-353-47 (.627 pct)

.627 winning percentage vs. .610 winning percentage is probably worth about 10-15 spots in the rankings, not a small difference. 17 SWC titles in 80-something years vs. 10 SEC titles in 60-something years is apples and oranges. Even after the 1999 season, there wasn't a single ranking system out there for all-time success that didn't have LSU in or right on the edge of the top 15. Now, it's in or on the edge of top 10. Texas A&M isn't, and probably never has been, in the top 20 in all-time program rankings.

And besides, this whole "before Saban" thing people try to use about LSU is bullshite to begin with. He was only here for five years and left almost 13 years ago, and we have a better record since he left than we had when he was here. That whole shtick is way past played out.

No, YOU say otherwise, and you are delusional as usual.
