most of us are ok with that, however.. I do believe that this hire, this recruiting, this PR will bring $$$ and Support unlike we have never seen at Arkansas.
so, will it lead to better programs all around with the donors getting on board like never before. IDK... But it most definitely is a shot in the arm.

It makes more financial sense and it doesn't cost as much as football. Arkansas just has a much better chance to be successful in basketball than football period.

It really is sad knowing that football has been bad since Arkansas joined the SEC.
The people in charge for decades had plenty of chances, seasons that could bring Arkansas to a decent or good level.
But everything gets so screwed up time and time again.
Now it is gone and only the memories remain.

There’s so much luck involved in winning the NCAA tournament. The huge difference between Calipari and Bill Self is one Mario Chalmers 3 pointer 15 years ago. Jay Wright was a punchline before he was a basketball god etc.
