RPI alone will not get you in. Lose to Ole Miss and go 1 and done will hurt an RPI and other teams will win and steal bids.

They will lose to UK at Rupp, so theres another loss. UGA is only good win on the road.

They lost to Iowa St, Clemson on the road.

Arkansas upcoming schedule

165 Miss State
@154 Auburn
@42 Ole Miss
157 Missouri
@165 Miss State
33 Texas A&M
@2 Kentucky
@98 South Carolina
36 LSU

Major, major, major bad streak if Arkansas doesn't make the NCAA's. Losing to Ole Miss isn't a killer at all, especially if they keep winning and have a good RPI.

However, LSU playing at its peak plus typical SEC home cooking would make the game as challenging for Kentucky as anyone can give them

100% agree

Arky is basically in right now but their seeding can really fluctuate at this point.

Arkansas has 17 wins today. Very likely 18-5 after Saturday.

You're telling me, if Arkansas finishes 23-8 or 22-9 with a top 35 RPI, they don't make the tourney? At this point to fall that far in the RPI, Arkansas is going to need to lose to bad teams.

You've lost your ever loving mind man.

Arkansas is a lock right now.

The only thing that is going to keep Arkansas out is if they lose to State, Auburn, Missouri. All of them.

Arkansas has very good wins OOC. As of last weekend, they were one of only 4 teams nationwide to have 2 road top 25 RPI wins.

Yea but what im saying is they can be anything from a 5 to a 10 seed by Selection time. Depending how they finish.

You think Arkansas will sweep UK, Ole Miss, LSU? I do not. Also they have not really played anyone worth anything and won.

The SMU game was against a team that had their best player out. Road wins are going to be big and I do not see them beating both Ole Miss and UK on the road.

If they go 1 and done in the SECT then thats another nail.

Of course, yes.

I think with a really good finish, they may can climb to a 4 seed. I think that would involve beating Kentucky, which is very unlikely.

My point to the poster saying Arkansas is out with a loss to Ole Miss and losing the first game in the SECtourney is laughable.

Ole Miss isn't a bad loss. Losing to Missouri, Miss State, and Auburn would keep someone out though.

I am going to say Arkansas drops 4 more and ends up as an 8 seed.

I would put LSU in the big dance right now but I'm not too confident right now considering we lost to fricking Missouri and Mississippi State already. LSU can lose to any team in the country. Guess just got to keep winning and things will be good.

Kentucky potentially playing Michigan State in the 1/8 game should make some Wildcat Fans nervous. Izzo is always a tough out come tourney time

The only two programs who should be confident are UK and arky. I do think a&m is in a pretty good position to get in though

Arkansas has two top 25 RPI road wins man. Jesus. How good of a win do you think they need? Only 3 other teams in the nation have two top 25 RPI road wins.

Arkansas is 3-2 vs. RPI top 50(2 road wins)
Arkansas is 5-3 vs. RPI 51-100

No good wins? Please man.

Neither of those losses are bad losses man. Neither of those losses would keep Arkansas out. Ole Miss is a good team and projected as a tourney team.

A&M is not in a good position to get in at the moment.

They have to redeem that game and win 1 in SECT to have a real chance of making the field.

Real chance? Wtf? We are not on the bubble (we are solidly "in") and we'd have to really frick it up from here on out.

ETA: Not saying it won't happen but that would be an epic collapse.

I think we beat Florida at home and then if we win one out of the two of georgia/LSU we will be as long as we don't fall apart. We may need to win at least one in the SECT

Agree. Not saying we'll stay a 6 seed at all but acting like we don't even have a real chance to make it?
