God loves to play jokes on me. I prayed over and over, "God, PLEASE send us a kicker!" So He sends us JK Scott.

I think he already sent you both.
I've seen lots of Bama fans begging for another Leigh Tiffin - but they forget that Tiffin's first year was worse than Griffith's been this year and Tiffin wasn't hurt.

Kicking has a huge impact on the game. LSU beat Bama in 2011 because of this. Bama beat LSU this year because of that kick out of bounds.

He's awesome. He truly is. Dude was hitting some bombs in the GA dome. Usually don't pay much attention to punters, but he was putting on a show.

All punter jokes aside, Scott was a key to the Arkansas and LSU wins.

And the first half of Miss State game. He flipped the field at least 4 times and one turned into a safety.

Tiffin only had one or two bad games his first year. He was pretty solid the rest of the season.

That's true, which is a big reason I think they're a good comparison. Tiffin flat out lost the 2006 Arkansas game but you could see the ability was there through the rest of the season.
Griffith was automatic until whatever went wrong physically and even with the injury, he still stepped up when it mattered (something Cade Foster didn't do in his entire career) and sent the LSU game into OT.
If Griffith's sitting at 65% this time next season, I'll agree that he's not the answer but I don't think that will be the case.

Scott was the Angel of Death for Arkansas in our game against Bama this year. In tight games he's saved Bama's bacon quite a bit with his ability to instantly flip the field on people.
