So far in 2 NFL Drafts we’ve had exactly 0 1st rounders, 1 2nd rounder, & 2 3rd rounders. Sumlin put this program in a bad spot and Jimbo was skilled enough to keep things afloat (9 and 8 wins). 2020 marks the first season where he’s got most of his guys in place and it’ll also mark the best season since 2012. 10+ wins and playing for something at the end of the season.

By comparison, Sumlin inherited 5 first round picks, 1 second round and 1 third round pick.

Sounds more like he couldn’t develop all that talent that Sumlin had brought in.

Well 1 of the 3rd round picks was a juco TE he recruited and developed. He’s got a pretty good track record at FSU putting guys in the league.

Hate to break it to you but A&M will never be elite solely based on yall’s weird cult fan base. I lived in Houston working at KPMG early on and our boss (from New York and had no ties to the area whatsoever) would call a normal A&M grad a 1 percenter because only 1 percent of y’all’s fan base is normal.

McCoy would have not been drafted had he declared after 2017.

Nah just appreciating the fine job he’s done. If he inherited what Sumlin did (5? first rounders Including a Heisman winner) things would be pretty different.

I was just asking what you are drinking. Nothing, is a fine answer; an answer that I envy.

I'm drinking bourbon.
