His contract has no clause for taking money from another job so he can still pull in 10 million a year from A&M while making millions at another job

I can't imagine why he would ever take another coaching job. I can see him easing into a role at ESPN doing color on broadcasts, or in studio analysis, like Dan Mullen, but signing up for the recruiting/booster bullshite when you've got a mid eight figure net worth, I just can't imagine doing that.

Is this confirmed true, or just message board rumor?

1) he would have to shave and 2) he talks too fast and no one would understand what he's saying. He has no need to work but I suspect his ego won't let him do nothing. I just don't know what his next step will be.

Can anybody confirm this? Also, most coaches' contracts have clauses requiring them to look for another job to receive the buyout. But without a provision for offsetting the buyout with any money earned from other employment, I guess there would be no point...

Please no.

Just imagine having to listen to him and Beth Mowins at 11am.

Oh dear god. Manly Mowins and Fast-Forward Fisher. What a duo!

According to his contract, Fisher is owed $19.2 million within 60 days and then $7.2 annually through 2031. There is no offset or mitigation on those payments, and the annual payments start 120 days after termination.

Thanks, and wow! That is amazing. I have to applaud Jimmy Sexton's work here.

Like that prick has the authority to spend $150million. Might have been his decision to ask the President and the board.
