Ohio coaches have done well everywhere they've coached.

My money is on Muschamp or Mason to do it.

One is certifiably crazy and the other is probably hiding the lochness monster

Racist, imo. (And for the literalists out there that's a joke).

Seriously though, I dinna think Mason's packing a Nessie level one. He's a nerd at heart and I don't mean that b/c of any Vandy thing. It's just that after paying close attention to him for a few years, he's really just a lovable dork. While I'm not saying he's small or anything, it's just that extremely well endowed peeps tend to have more swagger. That kinda leaves Muschamp to do the nekkid thing which would be plain fitting, imo.

Why does this sound like he's planning to take a gigantic shite all over the place?

Maybe but CBJ beat UF and we all know that's been UT's bane more than anything else and likely motivates your response even if you don't admit it. That early victory tho has been overshadowed by time and the piss-poor performance in later games but it's still an important aspect. ;-)

Saban is getting ready to hire him as an analyst. Tressel is just the next in line to go through career rehab at Bama.

He'd be a good enough consultant but I'm just not sure he fits the USC Reform School modus operandi Saban's been working.

Saban may take him on as a consultant. Just kind of take over where Sark was.

He's a bit long in the tooth but he probably has a good five or so years left in him. Wouldn't be a bad choice at all if he was willing to come back to coaching. I like the odds of Tressel taking the Vols to the CFP a lot more then I do Butch's chances.

Won championships at both Youngstown State and Ohio State and left each job after running afoul of the NCAA. Sounds like a perfect fit.

After their time in the desert do you think any Vol fan would flinch from that?

A decade ago, a large segment of cfb fans' sentiment was that his style was too conservative and that he played "not to lose" a little too often.

But it is undeniable that he won. A lot.
