Shouldn't be much flooding, if any.
Flooding will not be an issue in Gainesville. The power outages are likely to be severe.

He can record the show on his iPhone while in transit to BR.

If you think 3-5 inches of rain caused flooding then you don't know how flooding works

Wtf is this flooding bullshite? Trees down is the biggest problem that'll happen. That equals roadways blocked and power outages. No clue where this flooding shite comes from. I've never dealt with flooding after a hurricane in my life. Not that it's not a possibility but it's not something immediately on the radar in our area

They are probably talking about the areas closer to the coast. Gainesville will not get hurricane strength winds.

That is the extent to which Gainesville is expected to be impacted. Minimal TS force winds with a very small probability (14%) of winds approaching 58 mph according to the National Hurricane Center.

Posted this in the other thread, but I think even if there's not a safety issue, what if there is just no power in the area?

You really have no clue. I live in South Louisiana trust me I know all to well what flooding is! There is no way in hell at this point one can say y'all are only expecting 3-5 inches of rain. If this thing stalls the rain fall will be much greater. If the projected turn indeed takes place this thing could stall in the turn and keep dumping rain. There is a reason they name Hurricanes after women, you never know what they will do

Bro's, playing a game in the outskirts of a hurricane would be fricking awesome.
That's way cooler than a nascar track.

If you can't have a radio show how can you have a game?

I'm sure there will be some power loss, and if there ends up being more than expected and its not restored Saturday, then push the game to Sunday or Monday.

Aren't you the same idiot that's making a case for playing in Gainesville because it's just going to be a little shower?
