That isn't his best look I will say. It could, however, appeal to some recruits who have an odd fixation on playing for a goofy looking white guy.

You could be right about some recruits having and odd fixation on playing for a goofy looking white guy.

And I bet some coaches, like Harbaugh, have an odd fixation on recruiting the goofiest looking black guys to play for him.

The only reason why anyone is upset is because it's happening on our turf. If Saban or Malzahn or Butch or Freeze or any other SEC coach was hanging out right now in Michigan and Ohio with their best recruits, we'd be laughing at the Big 10

okkkaay. so what's your point?

Yikes! He's no Vlad Putin.

Won't hurt recruiting because all we have to do is mention the crappy Michigan weather. That is how you stay so white.

Wait 'till Urban Meyer sets up a gypsy camp within 5 miles of Red Hick and then sends out 15 or 20 of his best recruiters to all your local swamps and inner cities to invite all the best players to his camp.

Then 'ole marble mouth Miles will care.

When is the last time Northern/Midwestern teams decided to blanket the South with recruiting stations manned by high profile coaches?

It's going to happen; they have a great advantage over us with this trick and will take some high quality recruits that we all, the SEC teams, could have retained.

Not like the State of Alabama is a hotbed of blue chip talent.

Have you looked recently how much talent has been recruited out of Mobile, AL and drafted.

Alabama produced the 5th most talent of any state in this past year's draft behind Florida, Texas, California and Georgia. There is talent in this state. Especially in the Birmingham, Montgomery and Mobile areas.

Joey Bosa was a huge prospect out of Florida who went to Ohio State and was a key contributor on their national championship team this past season. Every school in the South wanted him - including Alabama.

Spurrier doesnt look like casper the friendly ghost. Some michigan yankee comes down here and looks like casper trying to be cool.

Spurrier is 70 and still looks better than Harbaugh.
