He's also a big fat slob. It would be hard to listen to him as a football player who, ya know, is required to be in peak physical condition.

I tend to agree. There is a difference in being fat, and sloppy fat.

Pittman is the guy that has no talent and has to play a decent lineman out of position and convert a defensive tackle to the OL.

Chaney on the other hand, he's slamming his face into the wall constantly. Just like the Arkansas and Tennessee fans were talking about. He's going to completely ruin the draft stock of two good running backs. Unless things suddenly change in that department, both Nick Chubb and Sony Michel may have to return (and I doubt they want to) to school. And Michel isn't even the guy that hurt his knee.

How does he still have a job?

And why did Georgia want this guy

Because defensive gurus like Smart are autistic when it comes to knowing anything about offensive football. He and Muschamp are cut from the same mold. They hire these retread coaches that no other D-1 school will touch.

UGA can't fire Chaney without letting Pittman go as well. That's why Pittman left in the first plkace. To work with Chaney again. You can't have one without the other.

That's bad, but there UGA's OL is so soft that I think the playcalling is basically irrelevant. Nothing will work until we get better players there.

This is so true, but Chaney's play calling compounds the problem. He's a fricktard that shouldn't have a job as an OC.
