Strangely enough, Manziel is a guy most people would love to get behind. He's his own worst enemy. His kind of "Swag" only resonates with a small amount of people, and he'll find out quickly as a rookie it will not be his teammates, initially.

Many folks out there simply pull for athletes on their own teams.
Anyone else who receives a lick of attention or marches to his own beat is tarred & feathered.

Most folks had no clue who he was until he took his first snap. It's probably his behavior, including verbally trashing College Station that's led to his reputation.

Yeah, that one time he was pissed about getting a parking ticket changed things for me. I'm not sure how anyone likes him. Did you hear he went to a party at UT once with his friends that go there? What a douche.

I don't think people hate him because of Texas A&M...it's his attitude.
