I don't necessarily agree with that. If the NCAA thinks there is more money to be had they will find a way to justify it.

NCAA isn't the issue. The courts are the issue.

True. The major conferences could break off with help from the NFL and form some kind of deal akin to minor league baseball perhaps. Obviously there wouldn't be team affiliates but the NFL could help subsidize the development of their own talent for a change. School affiliation would be ruined though and that's what makes college football so special.

Yep. And if a scholarship, free housing, free food, etc. isn't enough for them then maybe college isn't for them. They can get a job and pay their own bills.

Who is "you"? What if "you" is the NCAA store, and every athlete in every sport has a product page?
