Because Alleva had already TOLD Sankey & Foley what their options were. Why should he be in the conversation when he is the one who dictated what will happen? Foley just trying to save face, he is the one who started this & Alleva finished it. If he doesn't like it,
He could've just played it last week.

This seemed almost obvious from the self-serving, mealy-mouthed, public statements by Alleva.

You know except for:

quote:

When LSU's hotel rooms were gobbled up by storm evacuees, the Tigers embarked on a series of logistical plans to ensure they could still travel for the game. Ultimately LSU told the SEC they were prepared to fly into either Tallahassee or Tampa, since Gainesville's airport was closed on Friday, on the day of the Florida game and bus to Gainesville from either of those airports, which would be open because they were outside the storm's reach. After the game LSU would fly back out, ensuring that the team took up no hotel rooms in the state of Florida.

quote:

Not only were the Tigers willing to play on the scheduled Saturday, they also told the SEC office they would also be willing to play on Sunday and Monday in Gainesville.

quote:

The Tigers reserved hotel rooms in South Alabama to allow their travel crew to avoid any peril from the storm. Student managers packed the big rig and were told to be ready to leave on extremely short notice to ensure that the football pads and equipment arrived on time.

quote:

LSU's message to the SEC league office was clear -- we want to play the game this weekend and we'll do whatever we need to do to make that happen. The SEC league office conveyed this same message to the Florida Gators.

A lot of that is just made up PR statements. LSU's sole offer to play in Gainesville was for Sunday.

They reserved hotel rooms in South Alabama? Sounds like something Mother Theresa would do if she had supernatural powers.

What's hard to comprehend?

LSU now loses a home game because UF refused to play the game.

Alleva was too busy stirring things up on tRant and tSECR.

He's gotta be either Nado Jenkins or wild thang.

Justice will be LSU kicking the shite out of FLA 3 years straight, breaking them into little pieces in the process, and then dumping these weak-arse ninnies as a permanent cross divisional opponent. What a bunch of unadulterated assholes they are.

that's harsh man.

but it's fricking true.

Alleva was complete dumbass in that situation but self serving is not the correct adjective

It will be glorious when LSU takes it to Alabama being how we are all but done, don't have a coach, fired our best coach mid season, are bottom of the SEC, and do nothing but stir shite up. Lmao

It will be glorious! Y'all all can keep talking all the trash on LSU like we aren't tops in the SEC but I want you to keep talking when we play everyone also.
