I don’t think it helps the CBK put him back in games after getting thumped silly. Dude still performed, but you can only do that so many times.

Yet he got up after hit except for that late hit by bama, which drew a 15 yard penalty. Mite wanna ask Fla. about how cartoon''ish he looked while racking up 700+ yards of total offense against their defense. etc etc etc

It won't translate. You can't outrun NFL defenses. Ask Kyler Murray. If I'm a GM it would scare me to death watching these running QBs go through college looking at one receiver and hauling azz. It won't translate.

He didn’t get up too quick after Mizzou smashed him early to start the 4th quarter. Guy was seeing stars.

Well at least none of his type have translated to "winning" in the NFL. Michael Vick couldn't do it. Lamar Jackson hasn't to this point. And frankly until he learns how to use his head and not his feet he might never.

So how does any self-respecting GM not choose a QB who has already been in a system that is in a full-read offense? Who has already been taught the fundamentals and showed he can anticipate his small windows opening and actually throw guys open. Daniels flicks the ball downfield at the first sign of trouble and he had the receivers to go and get it.
Washington is paying OC Kliff Kingsbury a lot of money to bring his style of college football spread to the Commanders. Haven't we just seen this dog and pony show in the desert? Kyler Murray is a great athlete but can't read a defense. How's that going?
