Jay Johnson made a huge mistake not allowing ace vs. ace.

Might have taken game one if he would have played him, but he conceded it so he could steal game 2.

Didn't work out well, and has to send a bad message to the team. Not a good call.

Don't even give any bullshite about him needing 1 more day. We all know it was a chicken shite move.

Strategy was to keep Holman on Friday cause he normally throws about 100 pitches per appearance.

This is the exact bullshite I told you not to post. He conceded the game to Hagen Smith, once the game was closer than expected he burnt the majority of the bullpen.

He should have just thrown his stud and kept it to 80 pitches. LSU would probably be in a much better situation right now.

Going 2-6 to start SEC play as defending national champion is rough. Maybe LSU really is going to follow the path of Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

What is the logic behind this thought process?

Holman gave up 3 runs in 4.1 innings pitched Friday night, the bullpen gave up 3 runs in the first 4.1 innings pitched Thursday night.

They were only down 1 run going to the bottom of the 8th Thursday night and tied after 9 innings Friday night.

Starting pitching didn't lose the game in either case.

They have 3 batters in a row that are scary. If you can handle that you probably win.

You play to win.

Your own fans were calling this out before game 1 started. Don't take my word for it. Go back and look.

Warning: You're going to have to wade through several pages of melts to find it.

You guys crack me up. Have any of you won a national championship yet alone 7? It’s hard to win back to back. We will be fine in the future. When yall win just one come back and talk shite.

Waving past trophies at a current day bad decision doesn't make you right. I'm not here disputing your past success. I'm pointing out the horrible decisions your coach made the past 2 days.

You’re saying you can’t win without saying it. Players aren’t stupid. You can say it’s for another day rest all you want, but everyone knows why it was done. LSU went into the series hoping to win 2 at most. Teams the caliber of LSU shouldn’t do that. It just sends an unintended message they you aren’t good enough

Lsu doesn’t set schedule
Ark played Thurs Fri sat last week
LSU had to play Fri sat Sun and turn around and play Thurs Fri sat
Doing it that way also helps next week since lsu has to play Thurs Fri sat again

Trust me, JJ wasn’t doing it to set up things nicely next week. He was doing it to win Sat knowing chances were virtually 0 y’all were winning vs. Smith.

I don't know that being in agreement with LSU fans is anything you want to aspire to around here.

Next you will be criticizing the schedule and use of the tarp.

Or maybe JJ didn’t wan to disrupt Homan’s schedule. We either had what it took to win or we didn’t. We didn’t. So, it’s all a moot point. Enjoy the series win and stop bitching.

Both games were very winnable for LSU but a few mistakes killed them. This team is a work in progress. If they get it figured out by postseason they will be a nightmare.
