a good sample size

Part of a game against Iowa state, a game against 3-5 Kstate (a close win), and a loss to Oklahoma (both INTs thrown) = a good sample size.

Ummmm....yeah. JJ #2.

By sample you mean the 3 games he played in at Baylor? JJ looked great in practice too.

Good point.

JJ's hype was built around a game too. I don't think they are the same player, but JJ's hype was built around 12/16 for 243 yards and 2 TDs in a half vs Arkansas as well as limited action in other games. "Reports" from practices just added to that.

I understand what JJ's hype was built around. Stidham played pretty well under pressure (unlike Johnson) and has become the clear leader over a solid Sean White. I'm not betting he'll be in the Heisman race - just that he's obviously better than what we've had since Marshall.

Well I can get behind him being the best since Marshall. But this thread is about him being a Heisman contender.

True or not, they'll always refuse to believe it. And it's true.

tons of big named experts have been saying he throws the ball better than anyone in the country, and might possibly be the best QB in the country. They see NFL with him, it's different than JJ

I mean. If you can do it at Baylor and those mighty Big 12 defenses. Bama shouldn't be an issue.

This list is #FakeNews. The only ones who should be there are Lamar Jackson and Mayfield. All the hype for Darnold is hilarious.
