I framed it the way I did purposely. It's just a straight fact. And I only put it in there for one person. And predictably, he bit down hard and even threw in his trademark "Sean's completion percentage was great for a while!". That was just the cherry on top for me.

It was pretty clear when I used "has" instead of "had" I was setting up Sean White's number one fanboy with his favorite cherry picked statistic. He didn't disappoint at all.
