Wasn't he the QB for Kentucky in the Bluegrass Miracle

One of the most entertaining college football games I have seen as well as when Kentucky finally did beat LSU in 2007

You have to give him credit... Dude moves better than any other 400 pounder that I'm aware of.

I'll always remember him calling that timeout at the end of the Bluegrass Miracle, then pouring water over HC HM, then jumping up and down pumping his fists as the final pass by LSU was heaved up, then seeing him on his knees as he realizes Devery Henderson cought the TD pass.

For as big as he was, the dude could move, and had a cannon for an arm. He was actually a very good college QB, and he has a SB ring.

He looks like a river monster. Man I remember him though during the Jefferson-Pilot sports days. Good times. Hated playing that guy.

MY favorite Lorenzen story (I watched it unfold on TV). 2003, UK is down 21-7 with about 6 minutes to go in the first half against Arkansas. UK fans start to walk out of the stadium...Lorenzen stands up on the bench, turns to the crowd and yells...“Where in the hell y'all going? You're gonna miss one hell of a game!" Kentucky comes back to tie the game at 24 all with less than 2 minutes in the game. Arkansas wins in 7 overtimes 71-63.

Lorenzen threw for over 300 yards, throwing 2 TDS and rushed for 3 more. Lorenzen threw passes to 9 different receivers...maybe the most exciting game from the beginning of the 4th quarter on that I have ever seen.

Poor guy never got the same publicity Tebow did when he decided to stop playing football to play baseball. He even changed his name and throwing arm to keep his true identity unknown! Hats off to Jared Lorenzen

2000 (I think) UGA vs UK. Georgia has Lorenzen wrapped up for an apparent sack. He somehow gets the ball into his right hand and completes a 10 yard pass.
