I am not surprised reading this cause at the time of his recruitment, there was just something wacko. Such a wasted talent. Glad he went to Tennessee.

And after Jackson lied to LSU throughout his recruitment and the eventual signing with Tennessee, his Dad was quoted "We wanted to get out of the cesspool of crime in Louisiana".

Yeah, that's pretty chickenshit. Jefferson got in a bar fight, something that happens in thousands of college bars throughout the country on any given night. Also something that the 1958 Heisman winner was notorious for being involved in (FYI: If Billy Cannon would have played today he likely would have never made it to his Jr. year).

Mathieu was and idiot who refused to stop using drugs after being told time and time again.

Not to excuse their behavior, but neither guy (as far as we know) as ever been accused of armed robbery and murder.
