Has Alabama beaten a single tourney team? They don't have any good wins as far as I can tell.

They lost to SC.

As did a pair of ranked teams. (although I'm not sure if Ok. State is still ranked after getting hammered by KU.

Wait. Unless the is to indicate how bad we are because we lost to UF.. are we UF's basketball super bowl now?

shite. Between that and UT's football rivalry application we've got a busy Spring semester.

0-3 against top 50 RPI right now. I think we have a couple wins against 51-100.

Only 3 bids for the SEC, laughable.

UGA would be #4 but being 0-3 in conference is understandable why they are left out right now.

Probably Bama should be in though.

2 losses (1 in the final minutes to a ranked team, 1 on the road in 2OT) and we drop from an 8 seed to out of the tourney in the span of a week?

I can understand your frustration, but the problem is Georgia doesn't have a lot of opportunities to improve their résumé.

I lol'd at Lunardi saying Alabama no impressive wins therefore has no shot of getting in and still has Syracuse comfortably in the field.

We have 3 wins against teams with an RPI between 50-60 (UCLA, @ UT, A&M).

We also have 3 Top 50 losses and 1 Top 100 loss, all on the road or neutral site.

Do you actually think you are UF's basketball super bowl? I hope not.

I mean they are 30 in RPI...they don't really have to improve if they win the games they supposed to. A winning SEC record and a respectable OOC would get them in.

And they do play Kentucky twice...I know it's a longshot but I'd call that a good opportunity to improve a resume.

Yea, this is silly. People have to stop acting this is the SEC of 2010-2013. It isn't. There are 5 Top 50 teams and 8 Top 60 teams in the league. That doesn't even include Florida. There are going to be PLENTY of opportunities to enhance teams RPI's.

UGA for example
71 Florida
56 Ole Miss
@ 2 Kentucky
54 Tennessee
57 Texas A&M
@ 41 Alabama
@ 56 Ole Miss
2 Kentucky

There are PLENTY of opportunities for them to jack up their RPI with solid wins. On top of that UGA is ranked 25th in the RPI right now.

So did Iowa State and Oklahoma State.......not exactly an embarrassing loss. Not nearly as bad a loss as Florida State.

Which tournament teams has Florida beaten so far? I'll hang up and listen.

Why is Arky getting so much love they don't have any great wins or are they still riding that amazing road win at SMU?

BAMA has zero bad losses.. and probably won't have any this season.. we in the tourney this year.. especially if we steal one this weekend.

As much as I hope you're right, I foresee us hanging tough and keeping it close before completely falling apart down the stretch and ultimately losing. See the WSU game or most other games from the Grant era.
