I realize now why he transferred..... After watching the OSU Nebraska and Purdue games it was obvious he wasn't going to play much at the slot position with Jaxon Smith-Njigba there. Jameson would have played but probably not as a starter, not with Olave and Wilson and 3-4 others as highly rated bidding for playing time...... Hey, nothing wrong with that and he has been able to put on display his tremendous potential as the primary receiver at Bama

It’s really hard to watch him and also realize he wouldn’t have been a starter at OSU. But you’re right.

On top of being really productive for Alabama, the guy brings so much energy to a pretty boring receiving group.

He’s legitimately one of the top 4 most important aspects of this team this year.

Joey B would never have started at OSU, and look at what happened to him...

WR is one of those weird positions where most schools play the same 3-4 guys but have like 8-9 on the roster.

It’s really hard to break into the rotation and/or get meaningful PT if you’re not already one of the primary guys.

Ohio State’s WR room is absolutely LOADED. Williams wouldn’t have been a huge contributor this season and Mizzou’s Mookie Cooper would have seen limited action. Cooper has been hurt all season, so we haven’t really had a chance to see what we have. I think last game was his first time playing with a clean bill of health and he finally caught his first TD.

He does drop at least 1 critical throw a game though so there's that as well. But Julio was know to drop some easy ones as well.

And yet his name is going to be called before any of the osu WRs in this years draft.

Sounds like another juicy recruiting pitch for Bama.

Ohio State doesn’t sub at WR and is very hierarchical as far as targets go, there is almost no chance he breaks into a meaningful receiver role there in 2021.

Olave is phenomenal

Garrett Wilson is just as good
Jaxon Smith- Ngingba is maybe the best- Man, that kid broke every

Texas big schoo record. What more can i say.

Jmo started in 2020 for OSU. He got passed mid season. He would be the 5th best wr on OSU roster this year.

Exactly..... Dwayne Haskins was the career leader in BIG10 statistics in his 1 year at Ohio State. It's fair to say I would trade that for Joe Burrow especially since they got Justin Fields who wanted to play for Ryan Day.

True to form, he dropped the first pass 9f the game and a couple more. He's one of the best in the country but he has a penchant for dropping one easy pass a game.
