#67 needs acting lessons. And, speech therapy.

Does it make you faster, stronger, technique better, more disciplined? Nope.

I played multiple sports team and individual. Never got beat by a rah rah type fella, used to love seeing running around screaming at each other. Trying to convince each other they can change the ship direction.

Nope, that ship sailed the week and months and years prior.

What does this
quote:

shite, I have seen tiger stadium go from loud to silent in three plays. Emotion is temporary.

have to do with this
quote:

But winning comes from execution and dominance, not emotion

the emotions of the fans is directly comparable to the emotions of players? I think a players emotions in a game are far more important than a collection of fans.

Wasn't really anything special IMO... They just put some sappy music behind him talking. Whoopty doo.

Yeah, you are right - emotion doesn't ever help in football.

It may not have ever helped you, but for a lot of players emotion is important whether it's the emotion of the crowd, something extra to play for, fear of losing, bigger game versus smaller game, etc. People aren't robots - emotion, motivation, etc. does matter and can affect performance. Adrenaline created by emotion can actually have a positive physical effect so your statement that emotion can't make you faster or stronger is actually not entirely true.

Clearly, he meant scored four more points post speech than they did pre speech. 14 - 10 = 4

Gotta love corndog reading comprehension, intuitive thinking?

Someone doesnt understand the "mental" part of football .

Let a team come out flat and watch the results .

Okay. Sometimes emotion is still needed. If you ever played sports you would know this and you would identify with what was going on in the locker room there.

I played sports. Played football too.

We had guys like #67 every now and then. We made fun of him because that is douchebag behavior and not leadership. He's yelling and throwing a fit because he wants everyone else to do their job better.

HE GOES OFF

Have you ever been in a football locker room at half time? I wouldn't exactly say "he goes off".
