I have seen him run a couple of times and he isn't slow. I don't expect him to try and run much on Bama. He has really good stats and is definitely a pocket passer with some athletic ability. His passing stats are fantastic actually,

He is certainly on par with Chad Kelley and Austin Allen who lit up Bama's secondary, when they had Jackson too, mind you. I can definitely see why UW loves their qb. I think they know they can't run and this is the guy they are counting on.

You need to look at his stats against ranked opponents it's a HUGE difference. The cobra is a good qb but not all world as being made out. He has almost sucked against every ranked opponent.

Washington fans keep saying he's regressed....

He played better defensive competition as the season went on.

He could be back to zero after the semi final game.

I think the game easily has the potential to be closer than most think and certainly some hope.

UDUB has a very balanced team in all phases. Strong D, good line play on both sides, good/smart QB with both excellent WRs and a strong run game.

They have a really good HC who knows a thing or two about prepping an underdog for a big game.

Bama will have to be well prepared and execute to have the success most expect them to have in this one. Fortunately for UA, nothing indicates that that won't be the case.

That said, I'd be surprised if the game is a foregone conclusion mid-way through the 3rd. I think it will be another slow tightening of the noose that sees Bama finally pull away late 3rd or maybe in the 4th.

Yeah I missed that. So he has padded his numbers with out of conference and a few Pac 12 cupcakes, and is very average against good defenses. This really should be like the semis last year.

That's the gist, we will see how they hold up to the rush when they try to spread us out and have no extras in the line to block.
