I am pretty sure Mett had taken 0 snaps at this point in his career.

that's a cool story. Mettenberger hadn't taken a snap yet at Eason's age

Yep, he didn't even take regular snaps until age 21 and 22. And I've said QBs in college do their best when they get to observe first and learn the playbook.

And once Mettenberger did start taking snaps he had Odell and Jarvis to throw to. He was good, but having receivers like that is a huge advantage.

Eason doesn't have to forcibly fondle young women and fight with cops at a bar. The women fondle him, and the cops buy him drinks.

Both are very similar. Good arm strength but cement blocks for shoes

I could imagine their careers following the same trajectory

Zach. Eason has more pure talent and can go MUCH further/higher as a QB but so far he hasn't shown me much more that one helluva live arm. His arm strength is crazy good but he has no touch.

He's still young but needs a legit QB coach in the worst way. He has the potential to great, imo and I've by no means given up on him. He was forced into a bad situation early - bad OL and so-so WRs but he's shown some damn good passing even beyond long balls. Just frustratingly inconsistent.

So you say this about eason, but would prefer the guy that just transferred from Georgia after his freshman year without taking a snap and wasn't as highly rated out of high school..who is mettenberger in this situation

Well there's something to be said for not proving all your negatives.

BTW, don't get butthurt about my comment. I think Eason has more talent and complimented him a lot in my 2nd paragraph and even said he was put in a bad situation. You single me out tho' I've praised him from day one as well. Makes. no. sense.
