No fricking way. I am so glad Saban is at Alabama.
At least Alabama is such a prestigious program that ten years out all these titles really won't change their recruiting or their advantages. It is just more wood thrown on a very big pile. They can suck up all these titles without doing damage to the program I love, and only LSU fans who delusionally think they are on the same level as Bama can't see that.
In fact this title helps my program because it helps the perception of the SEC overall more than it marginally helps Bama's reputation. For every recruit Saban takes from Texas we get four that sign up to play in the SEC that he built up the reputation of in recent history.
If Saban would have done this same run at LSU or *shudder* Texas then it would have changed those programs forever, which would have sucked all the air out of the room that my program lives in. Saban is right where I want him to be.
