They traded Spurrier for a defensive coordinator. They traded a real AD for a baseball coach. And subsequently they started getting owned by redneck-arse ACC Clemson in the big 3 sports.

I just don't think most bama fans realize how lucky they are to have nick saban. He's not gonna be there forever enjoy this while he's there, because nowhere to go but down after he's gone.

Having spent a good deal of time there myself I agree with much of your assessment.
I find Greenville, a wanna be offshoot of some of the New England snobby little towns that are infested with John Kerry types from other places who ruin it for the locals.
While all teams have fans like you described the Clemson gang is running on insecurity and a desperate need to be relevant. They are so fearful their current success will end soon they are grabbing every opportunity to be arrogant, earned or not, they can.

You are half right. He won't be there forever but most of us know exactly how great this run is and appreciate every bit of it. We are going to revel in it for decades!
