Georgia is #1. They’ve whipped who’ve they played. It will wash out after November 11. Otherwise it doesn’t matter. But UT should be in the top 3. Should Ole Miss be in the top 10? I don’t think so but the other side would say we have won what we should’ve won. So who knows? It’ll wash out before it is all said and done. Rankings are opinions like assholes. All the same. Everyone has them.

Honestly I don’t think anyone wants to be #1 in the middle of the season. It doesn’t count for shite. I’ve only seen State fans brag about that. Also ask Tennessee fans what that meant in baseball this last year. At the end....not shite. They didn’t even make Omaha.

I agree that Georgia and Ohio State should stay ahead of Tennessee.
I also think UGA fans shouldn't boast about beating Oregon when Oregon was debuting a new staff including a head coach that has never been a head coach at a major Power 5 school.

Especially considering how UA has played this season they probably should have not have been 3rd. We may have been 5th or 6th at best in the last poll.

I think UT should be 3, but you never know..
UGA had 32 votes, OSU had 20, Bama had 11, 46 total points difference between 1st and 3rd.
Plus Michigan looked great. There is no way to know where the 11 first place votes will go and if UGA and OSU lose some. Thus has been the most volatile poll I can remember. Which is good imo. I hate the you don’t move down unless you lose thing.

I know Clemson is undefeated, but man the ACC is soft, they have escaped some really average teams. They’ll Probly be at least number 5.

UA will probably drop to 9 in the next poll as they will have 8 undefeated teams ahead of UA. Brand recognition may have us higher but we are not deserving especially as we could easily be 4-3 right now.

I’ll answer this one: Because it’s a poll and not a merit based ranking. Like it always has been. Georgia is a TD favorite over UT on a neutral field. Alabama is prob a 3pt favorite on a neutral field. Doesn’t mean either would win but that’s the reality. The only thing that matters is the CFP rankings and UT may be #1 in those.

Tennessee has the best resume but there are absolutely 3-5 teams that would be favored against the Vols on a neutral field.
Rankings do not matter atp. Vols have every opportunity to make the play offs and play for a title.

Considering Oregon's ranking and what they've done since, the beatdown put on them is as impressive as a home win vs. Bama.
I'm not knocking Bama. But they are not the same as they used to be. Still a great team, but it's a notch down where they once were. A&M almost beat them last week. Texas, not exactly a behemoth, almost beat them with their backup vs. Bama's Heisman winner.
Georgia looks like the more complete team right now on both sides of the ball compared to UT. The defense is average at best.

Absolutely.. if we can both hold serve. 3 weeks from now will be incredible. GameDay I’m assuming in Athens…. 3:30 kick I’m guessing. Ticket cost.. will be a small fortune.

I think Tennessee at #3 is good for now. I want Georgia ranked #1.
