Tua at least deserves a chance to prove he's better.

Hurts didn't improve one bit if you ask me. Still can't complete a pass unless Ridley is wide open down the field. I vote that Coach Saban needs to give the keys to Tua. Let him take this car for a spin now. Hurts will blow us a game somewhere. He looks pathic sometimes and the defense has to keep bailing him out. Auburn or LSU fan?

I'm an LSU fan and I think this is stupid. Its refreshing to see a bama thread melting over their QB after a week 1 victory over the #3 team. We all want to believe we are so different but we really aren't.

Edit- I fully support starting tua against us. Please pass this brilliant idea to the bama coaches.

1. He gets his chances in practice and in the scrimmages. If he were better than Hurts, he'd be playing.

2. What would it say to Hurts, the rest of the team, and recruits if Hurts was benched just "to give Tua a chance." This isn't the fricking line-leader in kindergarten where everyone gets their turn. You earn your spot on the field.

3. You were spewing this same garbage last year about the backup QBs. And guess what, not a single one of the three has been named starter.

4. frick. It's like trying to explain how obvious stuff works to an inbred deaf-mute mongoloid.

Why would you replace a QB who has a 0.9375 record?

I was saying the same thing last year about Hurts

Yes I did, didn't I. I said early on that Hurts couldn't read defenses, couldn't hit the intermediate and long passes, and coldn't check down to secondary receivers and was taking off too quick. I said early on that it was going to hurt us when we played good defenses and that they were going to pressure Hurts and make him beat us with his arm. All correct and it easy to see coming.

We heard all off season how much he'd improved. First game didn't look like it. But yeah, he'll get some easy passing yards vs Fresno State and Colorado State and people like you will be proclaiming how great he is now. Then later, come the for real defenses, probably more of the same.

In the off season I didn't bash the kid, hearing how much he'd improved. I still hope it's so, but if not, I would like to see Tagovailoa and I think it's a given that Saban won't make the same mistake twice and not give the kid a decent chance if Hurts can't get it done. Otherwise, you'll probably see Tagovailoa transfer at the end of the year. Oh yeah, and I called the Barnett transfer too, though I didn't think it would be during the season. Tagovailoa is apparently better.

This is actually the funniest typo I've seen in ages. I bet the op knows all about being pathic.

Edit: you really should look at the first result on Google

Maybe you do not need to be scared of us now (although, I know deep down you are just a tiny bit), but it is definitely not a positive for Bama that Les Miles is no longer our coach.

Got to be one of the all time Top 5 dumbest posts on here, right behind those of the dumb arse Corndog fans!!!

How many times did Jalen have time to sit back and survey the field? How many times was he having to leave the pocket because of the F$U blitz or pressure that collapsed the pocket?

I saw improvement from Jalen. He stepped up into one of the few good pockets he got and hit Ridley on a 3rd and long conversion. Everyone wants to bitch about Jalen not hitting the TE or hit Bo down the sideline, but everyone forgets that the rush was either in his face or he was chasing down a bad snap that rolled back to him. He didn't take dumb sacks. He threw the ball away to preserve yardage.

And when Tua goes 24/25 that one incompletion will have you starting a thread calling for the other kid, right?

I would like to see Tagovailoa
We'll see him this coming Saturday. Saban's gonna give him plenty of reps in the 2nd half if we build a good lead. I'm guessing a possible devastating injury is in the front of the entire coaching staff's mind after all that happened in the first game...they'll get him some experience.

Keep Hurts and install Paul Johnson's triple option.

If Tua can beat him out I would move Hurts to RB, I think he might be the best RB on bama team and that is his future in the NFL.
