One of my old baseball coaches who was close to Les used to let his older son come out and train with my team (we were 18 and he was in 8th grade), and I can say from personal experience that both Les and Kathy were incredibly nice, likable people. Watching that coaches wives show she seemed the most like my mom or one of the moms I'd know in relation to the way she interacted with his kids, especially when it came to sports. Pretty cool.
But yea, she looks like an ex basketball player

Yea it's funny because she, not Les, was the one that we'd see throwing with Manny and catching his bullpens. She'd break out the ole mitt in the middle of the training facility around a bunch of 16-20 year old guys and she was actually good like she would throw the ball harder back to her son than my dad would throw to me. But yea it looked like she was super involved with her kids especially in athletics and seemed like a great mom
