I've been against Tyndall from the start fwiw.

And in VF30's defense, he was absolutely right about Dooley and Martin.IIrc, he was the first one on here to jump off the Dooley wagon and he caught shite for a while before everyone else saw it. I do think he's jumping the gun on Butch but the criticism isn't completely unwarranted imo.

And I'm not melting over basketball. It would be cool if UT was consistently great in basketball but I would trade any and all future basketball success if it meant VOLS football consistently winning 10+ games every year. You will very rarely see me melt over VOLS basketball...football on the other hand

To be fair, ohiovol bailed on Dooley from the day he knew who Derek Dooley was

He doesn't post much anymore but I'm sure wherever he is right now, he wants Butch fired. He's never happy

Yep. Basketball has been sacrificed for King Football. Things are getting back to normalcy

same here. college basketball sucks arse and I don't give a flying flip. football recruiting is way more exciting than actual college basketball season.

Too bad it is all connected in terms of revenue and $$$.

If UT was good at baseball, this wouldn't be such a big blow. Schools like Arkansas, LSU, MSU, etc all make almost as much money from baseball as basketball, unless basketball is good and then it's not that close.

Point is, you can't have basketball and baseball both sucking arse and not making near the revenue as half the other schools in the conference.

Tyndall can't out-recruit Pearl but he can probably coach circles around him.

He looked pretty good on the coaches call sitting between Cal and Stallings. They all had on matching shirts. It was cute.

How did I miss that? Eh, Cal's prolly giving him tips on how to stick it all on his past school and in return Donnie now owes him 2-3 prime 'croots.
