Sounds like a bs charge if all of that is true. How do we know that story to be true?

Breaking what up? According to her she was leaving when he snuck her.

When you're standing arm's length from someone it's fairly easy to tell if it's a man or a woman, right?

Most of the details about this are old news, but everyone has the sudden urge to play detective.

His suspension has already been lifted. He's back on the team.

https://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/11309929/jalen-mills-lsu-tigers-reinstated-back-practice

quote:

Mills had been indefinitely suspended since June, when he was arrested for allegedly punching a woman and knocking her unconscious on May 4. Initially police said he could face a second-degree battery charge -- a felony -- but East Baton Rouge Parish district attorney Hillar Moore charged Mills with misdemeanor simple battery on Monday.

quote:

Les Miles didn't say whether Jalen Mills will miss any game time, but it's clear the junior safety has not played for the last time in an LSU uniform.

LSU's coach lifted Mills' suspension in time for Monday's first practices of the preseason and said he will handle further discipline internally.

Miles stated to the press that he will continue to discipline Mills internally.

Mills was suspended from the team for the entire summer pending investigation of the incident.

Mills was charged with a misdemeanor because the investigation detailed that it wasn't even determined that Mills was involved. There was some doubt as to the identification by the female apt. resident of who hit her; and Mills has maintained his innocence and that he was not even in the hallway at the time.

There was not and will not be a "team" vote because there is no reason for one.

Again, Miles has reiterated that he will discipline Mills if he feels the investigation's outcome warrants it, including suspension for a game(s).

Sorry to dissappoint the MulliGumpNecks who wanted so very badly for a team vote. You can now go back to your rockers and Skoal.

What does this mean? Can he work out in the weight room? What exactly is he suspended from?

Not a troll. Just wondering what being suspended means during the off season.

He 'was' suspended from the team until yesterday.
It was more of just an unofficial punishment, since during the summer there were no official scrimmages or workouts like in fall camp.

I don't think he was allowed to use the facilities for anything, but not sure.

So basically, the disciplinary standards have been lowered to where you can knock out a woman and not even face a team vote?

so let me get this straight.....you actually believe that Mills snuck up behind a girl and punched her in the face as she was walking away because she knocked on his door?

because thats her story

I was just wondering. Didn't know if he could use the weight room, or exactly it meant to be suspended during the off season.

Thanks!

Yeah, let's insert our rational person logic and decision making into the thought processes of Jalen Mills.

Mills has never shown any reason previously to make me believe that he isn't a rational person.

or are you just saying this because he's black...racist

And after we do that let's totally assume the crazy woman banging on his door is on the up and up and told the story word for word how it went down.

I love this board.

Or that all the LSU "witnesses" gave a full accounting of whether or not the LSU player punched out a girl.
