... Bama fans posting to demonstrate their rivalry enthusiasm for Tennessee. You guys say it's a big one and I'm trying to be accepting of it but something just doesn't add up.
I don't think I've seen a single thread started by Tennessee fans at all to show their rivalry enthusiasm except a cute thread about Bama fans showing up to the game early. That's hardly any smack talk at all. I know Tennessee has had an unexpected start to the season but I've been told that records mean nothing in this game. If this is really a rivalry as you say, it sure is a strange one.
You gumps sure this "rivalry" means anything at all?
This is almost as weird as the things that aggies do to get themselves up for a game against daddy (pics of sailor outfits, inappropriate role playing, cross-dressing, b&d, choking, etc).

True. But Bama doesn't consider us a rival at all. I'm confused what the word "rivalry" means in the state of Alabama.

Corndogs don't have a rivalry game except for the expired Tulane matchup and maybe Ole Miss or Ms. State.
You support a team that has no history of excellence and never was really part of a heated and intense rivalry.
Just the memories and stories of Alabama vs. Tennessee, really, is a greater emotion for Alabama fans than lsu fans have or probably ever will know. Many times, it's a generational hate that is simply passed on from an elder to the younger generation.
Asking an lsu fan to understand is asking too much of the human brain. They just can't relate because they've never had it and can't relate.

WE HATE THOSE MOTHERfrickERS in a way that you can never know simply because your team sucks arse, has no good rivalries, and has never been nationally prominent until Saban arrived.
It would be like you living in a city with 500 people in it and earnestly asking why your city isn't as well known as Rome or London. The correct answer would be, it just isn't you stupid bastard.

No, we don't consider lsu a rival. One of the contributing reasons, among several, is that a fanbase full of whining bitches like you don't make good rivals.
You're weak. Weakness isn't good for anything but beating the hell out of 8 times in a row, so far.
lsu is a cake walk, an easy game. Rivalries are composed of competitiveness, some jealousy, mutual hatred, decades and decades and decades and decades and decades of mutual animosity.
lsu is nothing, frankly. You and your fellow lsu fans will never understand rivalries like Al/Tn and Al/au, Ohio State/Michigan, So. Cal/Notre Dame, Texas/Texas A&M, etc... never.

Don’t get me wrong Gumps. I get that we don’t have much in the way of rivalries which is really just getting up for a particular games sake. Now I get the iron bowl because Auburn is your little brother and nothing makes them happier even if it was to be their only win of the season. But Tennessee? Really? Why do you guys focus all your hate on a team that doesn’t appear to hate you? Bama has bullied Tennessee ridiculously over the last 12 years. It’s almost like you guys fear Tennessee in a way because anger is just an outward sign of fear. I know some Westboro types don’t get that idea but it is the truth. Alabama has taken care of auburn quite well since Saban has been here and they are still our rival, why shouldn't Tn be?
You are misinformed and ignorant. Tennessee fans still hate Alabama, they are just in a dormant stage due to extreme beatings and are afraid to open their mouths.
But the hate, the hate is alive and well in each and every one of them, even though it has temporarily been beaten out of them to some extent.
They are more intelligent than lsu fans because they realize after being beaten so many times in a row, there is no value gained from shite talking.
lsu fans are just nutball idiots and don't know any better and it's impossible for them to shut their holes because, refer back to the idiots comment.
