Or the unthinkable..UGA in play in and only 3 in.

a little farfetched but that would be crazy.

I dont think the 5th best RPI conf has ever got only 3 bids.

About as confident as 2011 Baseball when our RPI was 26 and we missed out.

I'm hoping 2011 VCU confident.

I'm nervous. If UConn wins today I'll be really nervous. A couple experts have us in. A couple don't. We currently have an rpi of 38 and 21 wins, but we don't have a single rpi top 50 win and haven't beat a single team that's safely in the tournament. Some of our losses are completely understandable - UK x 2, Arky x 2, Gonzaga and @ LSU. Three are questionable at best - @ GT, Minnesota (neutral) and @ USCe. Two are awful - USCe at home and AU at home.

JL has had UGA safely in for 2 weeks and haven't been last 4 in or first 4 out since January. Most of UGAs losses in conference were when the team had multiple injuries to starters. UGA is easily in at 8-9.

Probably right, but I want to see it before I get excited.

It really just depends on what the committee is looking for. I disagree that we're easily in, even though we could end up with an 8 or a 9. I think the highest rpi in a power 5 conference to ever be left out is 39 or 40, but maybe we could set that record this year.

Ya'll have been project in that range for a while, right? I don't recall seeing them below a 10, but I've only really paid attention the last few weeks, so pardon my ignorance.

The sec has never gotten less than 3 teams in since the tournament expanded to 64. And with UGA at 38 ( 15+ spots higher than LSU/OLE MISS ), plus there are at least 6 automatic bids with higher RPIs. So yes I think UGA is easily in.

That's a really good point. My concern was that for a while JL had us as an 8 seed, then a 9 and now a 10. Meanwhile, Palm has consistently had us a bit lower and was quoted yesterday as saying 10 or 11 IIRC. Also, yesterday at least 2 "experts" had us out from what I've read. I obviously don't want us to be snubbed and don't want to see us in a play in game. We need time to nurse injuries. If I had to guess, i would say we're a 10 seed, but I want to see it flash up on the screen at 6 pm before I count my chickens.
