He and his family have certainly been thrown a bad hand in the last 2-3 years, only pray and wish the best for him and his wife and kids

lots of things flying around this team right now, should be interesting to see how it plays out on the field, I think Les has a solid history of directing teams thru "drama" for lack of a better word so we'll see.

My feelings for him and his family seem to override any concerns it brings for the season though, has to be such a shock

Hopefully, all the idiots that posted prior to the correct information are re-thinking their post. Best wishes to Coach and his family.

I think a sad part in this situation was alot of fans first thought was our offense POTENTIALLY experiencing a setback. This man has endured a trying few years, we as tiger fans should strive 2 be a small blessing and encouragement to him and his family! We always brag about southern hospitality now let's show some!

Krag is such a good person, this is very sad news, especially for a family that has been through so much. Say what you may, but it is good to know that Steve and his wife will not be abandoned in their time of need by their entire football family at LSU. We all have seen the belief the LSU Tigers have for one another in critical times on the field. I'm sure it is going to be the same in this life situation.

Luckily he'll still be around. QB coach and will still have a big part in the offense.

Dudes had a rough few years. His wife got diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago.

My grandfather coached football his entire life. All the way up until the very end, he always took issue with fat coaches. It really got under his skin. The rants were epic.

God Speed to Coach Kragthorpe and his family.
Their plate has been full for the last few years, guys. But for the Grace of God go us all...

As far as football goes (which isn't the important issue in this conversation), I am confident he will do all he can to help his team be successful. But it does seem to me that this was a necessary step. The man obviously has issues that will likely at some point interfere with his duties, and it appears that both he & CLM came to this resolution after some heavy soul-searching.

Please keep Steve Kragthorpe and his family in your thoughts and prayers.....

Prayers for Krag.

On another note how badly will this affect LSU? I mean If Krag is still going to be involved in everything then what's the difference? I suppose maybe he isn't the only voice for what plays are called?
