Here's to hoping somehow Auburn can squeak out 8 wins (including their Little Caesars bowl game) so the Gus Bus will be left with enough gas in the tank to make it to 2017

Serious question, why is he a wr coach? Is it common for former players to coach a position they never played? Or did he play wr at some point that I've forgotten?

Yes and no Coater. Most QB coaches played QB. That position is pretty consistent. Others not so much. Coach a room didn't play RB and he was very well respected coaching RBs in the NFL for many years. One thing that holds most consistent is defensive guys coach defense and offensive guys coach offense.

How will he be paid
We will just make The State of Alabama and Mississippi pay.

Steele's buyout should cover it

Auburn has fallen apart. They have replaced State as the joke of the west.

This really isn't that uncommon anymore.

In his last four jobs, he has been a WR coach at two and a QB coach as two. I think what I've heard from Auburn posters, even prior to today's melt, is that he is a very good QB coach from a technical standpoint but an average or below WR coach.

Anyone know how much Dameyune Craig going to be paid at LSU?
He was making 500K at Auburn in 2014.
