But here’s what we have seen so far...
He held together the first class that was very good.
Instilled his attitude the first year , won 9 games.
2 year , got second ranked recruiting class, won 11, won the East, beat all of his rivals even though it took a mulligan against Auburn , but Hell hes already got as many wins against the tigers as Gus has against the Dawgs. Won the SEC, got to #1, and made the playoffs , natty or not that ain’t bad.
3 year #1 class it looks like, 23 commits (with 20 signed), 6 5 star, 13 4 star. 6 out of top 10 in the state of GA. Trump might not build a wall but Kirby sure as hell has.

And like I said it might be fools gold, but if the Giant is finally awake.

Not likely.

The administration sucks (ran off Meyer, ran off Muschamp, ran off McElwain). Had to win over Mullen's wife to get him back into the fold.

Recruiting is split in-state with Miami, FSU, and bordering schools (Bama, Auburn, UGA). Not to mention the Meyer pipeline to Florida right now.

Annually draws LSU (tougher opponent than anyone in the East not named Tennessee).

It isn't the worst job. Mullen should have some success unless he becomes the butt of a dumb joke. And then the sensitive gators will turn on him quick despite any success.

The difference is the top players UF has to go head to head with Miami and FSU plus a new miner of G5 programs that sometimes causes problems.

If you look at the recruiting history UGA rarely losses a kid to GT and never to GSU or Ga Southern. It’s always outside the state.

So the thought is what if you can lock down 70-80% of GAs top kids and keep them home and with CMR , even though classes were good they were because of bringing outside kids in. And mainly were based on skill posistions. This is not the case with KS.

Like I said he may not do it, but if he can do it UGA could be very difficult to deal with

Richt was consistently signing 33-50% of the top in-state talent. He was getting out of state talent as well. But the recruiting classes were consistently 4th best in conference and 10th best in the country.

Big difference.
