To me Oregon has never been elite. They got the benefit of playing in a very soft conference. Before they were the Pac 12 all you had was Stanford in their way. USC being down and on sanctions helped Oregon a good bit. Now that there is more parity in the conference they are seeing just how tough it is on a weekly basis. Add that they don't have an elite qb and you get what you saw Saturday night.

I did not see the Oregon score until this morning. They must be furious. And the game was at home?

I would think they had the worst melt across the nation.
