No, what is going to suck is when the storm comes through, and Florida is reminded what a CAT 4 hurricane is like, they will realize how foolish they were. Unfortunately too, because of the hubris shown on this site by UF fans and others trolling LSU, there will be some unfortunate threads made rubbing it in their face, which will be unnecessary considering the damage.

Why? That's what everyone is hoping for. It just doesn't seem very likely to happen if they keep the game in Gainesville

Nah, the awkwardness will come when the blame game picks up again. Here are your excuses:

SEC office planned this
The hurricane threw off our concentration
It wasnt fair the field was wet for only us
Bama and Florida worked jointly to get this game played
If we had played in Baton rouge

I wish yall would just move it there so they would feel like they were treated "fair'. Anything less than playing in BTR is gonna be a conspiracy in their mind. Yall just go to BTR and be done with it.

If you post this in enough threads you may finally get a reaction.

Keep plugging away.

I want this game played Saturday somewhere, but can't help but think with your injury situation UF has slow played this and taken advantage of the situation. It should have been moved we know u don't want play in Baton Rouge find a nuetral site in Florida.

What I don't get is the fact that Florida fans are acting like this just a random thunder storm passing by and everything will be just fine afterwards. You do realize that hurricanes are unpredictable and it could turn inland at any point and wreck shite in central Florida right? Not to mention all the resources and other things needed to run an event that large will be used elsewhere on the coast where there is a guaranteed large amount of damage coming. It really does confuse me how y'all just act like it's no big deal and the game will go off without a hiccup just like it would have otherwise. You're stadium is going to be empty because people are actually concerned about their safety and not whether a football game will be played in Gainesville or not.

You realize Cat 1 winds can cause significant damage?

I remember several years ago Alabama refused to come to College Station to play the Aggies. They said they did not want to endanger their fans traveling to the game.

They also had a QB that was injured and would not play.

The day of the game it was a beautiful 75 degrees and no rain.

Nice dodge Bama. Of course the game was played later when Bama was healthy and we had several players out.
