Actually 35 yd line equals 52 yd FG try ...just so you know the ins/outs of football....the place holder is stationed 7 yds behind the line and you add 10 yds for end zone...so in other words add 17 yds to where the ball is.

Oh no, I forgot to the the + sign in there in my posts, so I was off by two yards.

You really got me there....

Honestly, he would've had to!!! At least to try and even the game.

That's not true, at all. That drive ended with 6 or 7 minutes left in the game. There would have been plenty of time to try and tie it later.

UF didn't even get within FG range after that score.

8:00 1st & 10, LSU 23

Treon Harris passed to Demarcus Robinson to the left for 38 yard gain to the LSU 23

We've been through this, that drive ended at the 35.

I believe you and I have bumped heads over a statement like this before my friend so I'll leave it at this...

The claim was made that UF never even made it into field goal range after the fake kick...which has been proven false. Regardless of where the drive ended, UF got in FG range.

CK- what will the melt for UF fans be like when you get to the NC and lose to Urban the same way Nebraska pistol whipped you lizards all over the stadium? I think it would be an all time classic. Actually I don't think the Bucks will get there because Michigan State will beat them. But then you meet up with Sparty and Cook throws for 400 on you and 4 TDs. That would be epic.

Agree.

A better way to state it would have been Florida was never in a good position to kick the game-tying field-goal.

All things being equal, of course.

A team, in a rebuilding year, making it to the NC....I doubt it would be the UF fans that would be melting

Nobody even uses that term anymore genius. And it's actually a badge of honor. You have to build something in order for it to actually rust. Go stick with your South American hotel cleaner jobs that built this country. Lol

Never was a Carolina fan. So you'd be wrong. Well if your logo is any indication, you have a coach named Botch. Oh the irony.

Yep. Treon caused LSU to have to resort to trick plays.

what was the final score again? So you team couldn't stop trick plays?

It was 35-14 minus a muffed punt and a blown kickoff coverage. Those are lightning strike TD's. Every touchdown we scored was after us going on a long drive and shoving it up UF's arse and your offense was anemic the entire game.

So LSU scores a TD on Special Teams- Great Play, Florida does the exact same thing- somehow not a great play?
