It's clearly been a down year in the SEC

Our teams don't look great in bowls so far, and we had six 7-5 teams after the regular season.....

The days of there being a solid 4 teams, 2 in the west and 2 in the east, are a relic of the past I suppose.

Tebow & Mallet are the only really good QB's in the league. We've got to get more top QB talent to be more dominant.

It doesn't take a really good QB to get to the Championship...

Our QB has done his part so far this year. That's all that matters to me. I don't care if he isn't considered one of the best in the league

Kentucky should have some quality at the QB position in the next few years.

Morgan Newton was the #6 rated QB in the nation coming out of high school last year. He had offers from Clemson, Florida, South Carolina, Perdue, etc.

Ryan Mossakowski was the #25 rated QB in the nation as well. He had offers from Bama, Clemson, Auburn, and Nebraska among others.

Of course, that doesn't help the rest of our team though.

Aren't we the only conf with 2 in the BCS? That skews the rest of the match-ups. Of course, in the past that didn't slow us down.

Well, if we didn't have teams like Auburn weighing us down, the SEC wouldn't be so down.

I agree.....that was my point yesterday when I said that alabama has had an easy time of it for two years while TN and Auburn were screwing around and changing coaches.

Things will be more normal next year.....

Wouldn't more 7-5 teams mean more parity in the SEC, overall?

Our OOC schedules inflate our records anyway.

You may do your part. You have done jack so far in terms of this argument this decade.

Um...no.

The Big Televen also has 2 teams in the BCS.

In fact, the Big Televen has had the most at-large berths in the BCS, so if anybody can play the "skews the rest of the match-ups" card...

Theres still no other conference that can hold the SEC's toilet paper roll. But you can have your own opinion.

The most important fact is that if we take care of business Thursday night, there won't be another team in the nation worth holding Bamas toilet paper roll.
