It would be unfair to put yesterday's loss on Coach O's resume. Blame Alleva.

Alleva stirred it up with Florida. The players at LSU were out of control yesterday because of their AD. They were too hyped, just look at all the mental errors in the redzone.
Plus Alleva got a very bad deal for LSU. A day game at home against Florida. They would be better off just playing at a neutral site. LSU fans were just rolling out of their beds. Plus the next 2 seasons on the road at Florida.
It would have been better for LSU to play at Florida this year with it being a busted season.

The best part of this is LSU's home SEC schedule next year.
Aleva's legacy is so tarnished st this point it's comical.

LSU tried. Florida didn't want to.

The schedule has been hashed to death...its over. But I will say this in defense of HC O...he didnt cause Jackson to fumble on the return when his own man bumped him...he didnt cause Jackson to let Cleveland get behind him for that 98 yd pass, he didnt botch the hold on the FG try. He didnt fumble the ball inside the 15 yd line.
He will be blamed for the goal line stand...but the tigahs had their way with us for most of the game and the total yds confirms it...the two turnovers and missed FG were costly....along with the major hit by # 11 Josean Moon, a tr frosh LB, on Eitling at the 1 yd line and then we stopped LF in the backfield and that led to the missed FG.

Yes.

And he should be. He had four plays and ran four dives. He could have, at the very least, tried a pitch to the weak side. Maybe even a play-action run throw keeper.
Really, anything than testing our red-zone defensive line.
