At least let it be the wrong call before you start throwing shite. I get it though, you hillbillies were thinking up scenarios that you could win the east all week only to be let down once again

From the stands, it looks like a first down. They did not show any replays on the Jumbotron. I think if they show a replay where he is definitively short, all of that would have been avoided.

He was short, but it was still a pretty bad spot. That definitely didn't help matters much. They marked him much shorter than he actually was.

If the home team doesn’t show a replay it’s because it’s bad for the home team.

Too bad their video production crew helped cause an incident like that by not showing the replay. It may have cooled things down.

I agree. Without the replay, the fans felt justified. They were already on edge. Show the replay, squash the boos, and finish the game.

Eeeh it’s pretty effin close. The yellow line is a foot in front of the chains.

I've seen it several times. It was nowhere near a perfect spot.

The spot was terrible, but if I'm being completely honest, he was still short.

And apparently we only have 3 camera angles in 2021.

The fourth down play is a part of the story from last night.

The powder keg was placed with the fumble / touchdown called back.

I think the spot was probably a half yard shy of where it needed to be. But, he was still short.

Exactly, there’s no doubt he’s short.

Seems a big argument on the other side was penalty yards between OM and Tenn … the issue wasn’t with penalties… it was with ball spots, the fumble/score, the behind the line of scrimmage “intentional grounding call…” … then tack on the fake injuries and Lane trolling with 3 timeouts before the FG at the end of the first half.

No the powder keg was you hillbillies beating 2 bottom feeders and getting your hopes up. It was more about you coming back to reality than it was the actual call

Yes they did, the problem was the kept showing the one replay which made it look like he made the first down after getting home and watching it on tv, it was obvious that he was short of the line to gain.

I think the majority of VOLS fans did not expect to beat OM prior to the season… and coming into the game, maybe a fraction more started thinking we would. Maybe 2% of the fanbase went into the game thinking we had any shot at the East.
