Didn't Bama slaughter y'all in Julio's freshman season? I distinctly remember a top 10 Clemson being taken behind the woodshed and taught respect the hard way.

Edit: Looked it up. #24 Bama 34, #9 Clemson 10. Y'all had 216 yards in the air and...I can't stop chuckling...a net 0 yards on the ground.

that wasn't a top 10 team if it was ranked that high. terrible o-line and defense

do Vanderbilt pansies live vicariously through alabama. clemson would beat vanderbilt every year easily

Check my edit. They were, indeed, a top 10 team. And I like Bama, as well as several other SEC schools. One of their greatest virtues is they don't thump their chest with pride that they can beat a small private school. Trolling me over Vandy's football program is pointless. I'm wiser than you because I'm perfectly aware of our place in the grand scheme of CFB.

Clemson wasn't a top 10 team in reality. Bowden was fired after that game and the team had like 6 or 7 losses.

i don't recall gloating over beating small schools, i'm pointing out that you run your mouth about Clemson when your team can't beat Clemson, and appear to live vicariously through Alabama, a rival, who beats your team every time, like a person with Stockholm syndrome.

if i was a vandy person i wouldn't even care about college football except when they play Florida. they are built to play with Florida lol

I loved watching those teams. Julio wasn't on a team that was gonna throw it all over the yard. He was injured a good part of his career but those teams were gonna run the ball right at your arse and then do it again. Amari came after our offense started to change.
We wanted gmac and jpw give us 11-17 for 170 and we'd run for another 240 and give up 150 total on defense.

We're Bama's rivals? Hot damn! Suck it, Vols. Also, that means Bama gives us more respect than they'd ever give Clemson. Shouldn't be a surprise, I guess. We actually have a better winning percentage against Bama than y'all do, and we had to earn it through more games. Does that thought make your head hurt and your heart ache?

I care about college football because I enjoy the sport. If your interest is sheerly for the metrosexual lubrication you get when jacking off to a bunch of large sweaty men representing the college you cheer for being successful, that's your affair. I can jack off to those men witho...okay, this sentence has no way of ending well.

clemson has rarely played alabama the last 50-60 years. most their wins over clemson probably were prior to television when the sport was like a club sport / intramural deal.

how does it help Vandy football to kiss up to Alabama?

also never hurts to mention Alabama is one of the most sanctioned programs in college football. :)

It's not "kiss[ing] up" just because the facts make y'all look bad.

Seven games resulting in seven losses for Clemson since the 1960s. Two of them just since Saban arrived. This wasn't difficult information to find. Three clicks. Just to be clear, when do you think television was invented? Remember, there's no wrong answer -- no matter what you reply, I still won't respect you. So just say what's in your heart.

11 of 13 Alabama wins over Clemson came prior to 1976 when Clemson was a really small college.

i do not understand why it is worth poiting out these ancient wins, not relevant to the state of the programs today. Clemson obviously played with Alabama last year and would have won the game if not for the two special teams miscuses.

it is incredible u are so bored and so alabama-whipped that you looked up the series history b/t alabama and clemson, lol.

jj won a natty and was drafted #6 ... i'd say his college career was all right ... and frick the op for dissing bama's qbs ... i get tired of bama "fans" and their constant negativity about previous players that weren't all-americans ...

beatdown lol

i am over it, i ti is alabama people who keep bringing up the game off topic b/c they love the attention

clemson was the the only good team Bama beat in the 4 title years with Saban so i'm proud they finally got a impressive victory and tough game

bama got that bama bias when com. gave them Michigan state in the frist round and we got the more dangerous Okla team. Clemson as the 1 seed should have gotten MSU who was clearly perceived as the 4 seed.

Clemson lost the title game fair and square. Stop trying to make 'miscuses.'
