They will always be a scary team to play, like they were under Nutt. If you can run the ball and control clock you can keep games close into the 4th quarter. Then with a little luck anything can happen. Arky will be the type to beat LSU or Alabama one week and then shite the bed against Missouri the next.

They were more physical Saturday than I was expecting on defense for sure. Going in the right direction for sure.

I agree...It so sick to know how close we were to winning these last two games. Bulldogs are definitely in trouble this sat. Every SEC team we have played so far has been in the top ten, and we still have the #10, #3, and #1 team left on our schedule. Crazy. Perks of playing in the SEC West!

We return a lot. Losing 3 on defense. A linebacker, saftey, and Flowers (he will hurt the most).
On offense we lose one starter on the o-line,a receiver that does very little for us, a fullback, and AJ Derby.
If someone can fill in for flowers we should be much better next year.

Everywhere but #86 DE & #47 OLB. All other spots will be upgrades with the underclassmen. Our Sr. S #27 Alan Turner is gone, but he's regressed this year and he's honestly not SEC quality, but he gives it his all.
#23 CB Tevin Mitchel will graduate but the FR and SO are already better and he's been pushed to a nickel back.
On offense we lose #74 Brey Cook and the FR redshirting behind him is much much more talented. We'll lose some depth on the Oline for practice, but those guys never play in the games.
We'll lose WR #85 Demetrius Wilson but KJ Hill will immediately be an upgrade.
11 of our 15 recruits committed for 15 so far have been ranked 4 star by at least one of the recruiting services. There are 2 of the 3 stars that will likely get bumped up to 4 by a couple of the services. They're having monster years.
We really don't lose too much in terms of contributing players. We have bad depth, mostly because the Petrino players are god awful and we're trying to redshirt as many as we can, but depth is forcing us to play them as true freshmen before they're really ready.
We had already gotten the best transfer QB available in AJ Derby last year, and there was only a handful of guys this last season that met the requirements to be able to play immediately.
Brandon Allen is not the answer for us at QB but he's the best option we have and hopefully he'll keep improving and have a productive Sr. year when we have more pieces around him and more depth.
