Are you predicting Florida will be playing for a National Championship this January? If not...then wow. Flordia lost one game all year..the one you mention to Florida State by 3 points. I don't think the circumstances are similar, really.

In 1997, Florida had lost only two games. Now, if you can show me where a Florida team had lost 7 games and played an undefeated Florida State team and won...then you would have something.
You guys don't have the chance of a snowball in, well, Florida in August.

That said...I hope you spank their bottoms.

We haven't worried about UF in the last three years.

What CAN happen and what probably WILL happen are two completely different things.

A better parallel would be in 07 when 3-8 Pittsburgh beat #2 West Virginia, costing them a spot in the BCS title game.

There ya go. now you are talking apples to apples!

When exactly was the last time Florida was a 26.5-point home dog in a football game?

The over/under is 44, which means Vegas believes the Gators won’t crack double digits on the scoreboard Saturday...

Well Richt never said that actually, I made most of that up, but a Georgia fan on Rivals DID say that beating us was more important than winning a championship.

I thought it was an unusual thing for Richt to say! But, hey....Georgia fans make stuff up all the time too, so, I can't hold it against you!

And the Georgia fan that said that is...well...just CA-RAAAAAZY!

in 1997 after Ten in a Reaux we beat #1 Florida after losing arguably what could have been our best runningback in history. in 2000 we beat #11 Tennessee after losing to UAB the week before. And in 2001 we beat #2 Tennessee in the championship after losing our starting qb. shite happens man. go gators.

Comparing the 96 and 97 Florida teams to this year is a disgrace to those great teams of the past. '96 won the National Champinship and ´97 despite uneven QB play was very good and had a nasty Defense.

Maybe this perception of Ole Miss is why you keep losing to us.

Ole Miss leads the series versus Florida: 12-10-1 (23 Games)
Ole Miss leads Conference Games versus Florida: 11-10-1 (22 Games)
Florida record at home vs Ole Miss: 3-6-1 (10 Games)
