It seems like LSU and Bama switched places this year

Last year LSU was the talented young team that shocked everyone dominating oregon and starting off 13-0. Alabama was led by veteran defense, a solid ol, and a first year starter at QB.
This year Alabama has the younger team and opens up with #8 Michigan. LSU has the veteran defense and the first year starter at QB. It's almost like roles are reversed this year.
Does Alabama jump to #1 after beating Michigan like LSU did after beating Oregon last year?

I don't see how we could lose to Michigan.

Beat Michigan first.

Maybe I have too much confidence in my team, but we match up really well vs Michigan. I'll be absolutely shocked if we're not up by 10+ in the 4th.

Definitely possible. But being the first game of the year, who knows what will happen. Maybe Michigan wont turn it over 4 times to you

Id be shocked if bama was not up by 10 midway through the 2nd. I dont see denard doing anything with the speed of bama

I can't wait for Bama's 9-6 win in Tiger Stadium.

They will. Denard can't throw, we'll contain him, Belue/Lester/Milliner/Mosley could all easily have an INT.
We'll run on them with ease.
We've been over this. If Michigan wins then the entire team choked and should not look forward to the rest of the season because they failed to beat a much lesser team.

Lol wut?

That would cause SECr's greatest meltdown ever. That would be worse than losing to Ohio State in a bowl game.

Yeah he's confused. LSU didn't jump to 1st.
Though Bama is going to win by a wider margin than LSU did.

I am really excited for the Bama-Michigan game. You never know what can happen.

In my not so expert opinion, Alabama wins a close game in the end. I expect Michigan to keep it closer than originally anticipated, but Alabama is too powerful and will eventually wear them down. Breakout game for Adrian Hubbard hawking down shoelace.

This "we can't lose" mentality coming from the gumps is comical.

LSU did not get to #1 in the AP Poll until week 5 of last year and the Coaches Poll until week 7.

I think he comes out with 3 sacks in the opener, 2 against WKU, then none for two games before another 2 sack performance and then a few 1 sack performances.

Gotta respect your opinion, but why do you think Michigan keeps it close when they will (in all likelihood) be dominated at the LoS.
